The central Idaho mountains are a splendid recreational area which has long been a popular vacation paradise.  Located in the heart of this land of dreams is SISCRA’s Willow Creek Campground.

The park is situated on a 66 acre peninsula on the banks of Lake Cascade.  The campground is managed by SISCRA, a non-profit Idaho corporation on land owned by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation.

The campground is open to the public on a seasonal basis.  The 2015 season will open on May 20 and will close September 20.  Dates are subject to weather and park conditions.

The park features 198 campsites with picnic tables  for RVs and tents, most with electric hookups and campfire pits.  Campsites are available on a first come-first served basis.  We do not take reservations for individual camping sites but usually have ample sites available.  Other features include public restrooms with hot showers and a group camping area that may be reserved for family reunions or other events.  A kitchen and recreation hall are available to rent.  Bring your boat and use our boat launch ramp to enjoy fishing or pleasure boating on Lake Cascade.

A surprisingly different community bank. Member FDIC. Equal Housing Lender. SBA Preferred Lender. Bring your mom. Bring your kids. Bring your dog.

There’s a sign that hangs in every Umpqua Bank that reads “Welcome to the World’s Greatest Bank.” This is not a tagline. It’s a state of mind.

• It’s a promise to do better than anyone expects of us today, then do it even better tomorrow.
• It’s a belief in doing good, not just doing well.
• It’s treating every customer as if you’ve known them your entire life.
• It’s connecting people to their community, connecting neighbors to neighbors, and local, independent businesses to local customers and resources.
• It’s constantly surprising the world with what a bank can be and how a bank can actually be a part of a customer’s life.
• It’s equal parts checking account and knitting club, commercial loan and local music source, IRA and Internet café.
• It’s understanding our customer’s financial needs and at the same time realizing that there’s more to life than money.

American Legion Post 60 1.jpg
105 E Mill St, Cascade, ID 83611, USA
The American Legion was formed shortly after World War I by Veterans who realized the need to help fellow Veterans and their families. Veterans who served in uniform during those periods where America was engaged in conflicts are eligible to join regardless of whether they served in a combat theater or not. We have no rank structure, other than elected officers; and we share one title “ Legionaires “.
Post 60 was chartered by the National Headquarters of The American Legion on 28 October, 1919; there were fifteen original members. Our Post is named in honor of Private Frank K. Spickelmire, US Army who was killed in action on 10 November, 1918 during the Battle of the Argonne Forrest. Frank grew up in Arling. Luke Moore, of Cascade, an Army Veteran of World War I was our first Post Commander from 1920-1922. Post 60’s Constitution and By-Laws were officially drawn up on 6 September, 1978; and our Articles of Incorporation were completed on 15 December, 1980. Our current Post Building was dedicated on 3 October, 1992, almost seventy years after we were originally chartered.
