Established in August 1973, the Valley County Museum Complex at Roseberry Idaho is governed by the Long Valley Preservation Society (LVPS). Roseberry stands by itself in the middle of the Long Valley and is located one and one half miles from Donnelly on Idaho State Highway 55. As the largest presentation of Finnish Culture in the Western United States, Roseberry is also a National and International draw for foreign visitors. Roseberry is unique because the museum is currently comprised of twenty-two buildings, many housing historical displays, and providing visitors with a year-round view of the history of Long Valley. The Museum is operated seasonally. Hours are: May – Sunday 1-5; June/July/August – Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1-5; September – Sunday 1-5. Visitors to the town site are welcome to view buildings year-round. The summer season provides rustic grassy areas for picnics.
PRIVATE EVENTS – Weddings, Family Gatherings, Memorials, Class Reunions – Can be held on the Roseberry Museum Grounds. Providing both indoor seating capacity up to 100 and adjoining outdoor space to accommodate up to 300, there are events planned throughout the summer season. Whether you are a local, visiting, or own a vacation home in the area, you have a place at Hunters’ Meadow waiting. Our vision is a place for you to just be…Comfortable! Where you go to celebrate a special occasion, fill the void in your belly, meet up for a beer and the game or a glass of wine on the patio. We will serve you elevated comfort food in a casual environment where you can relax and feel comfortable. We don’t care if you are right off the golf course, ski hill, or some other adventure. Hunters’ Meadow is where you are welcome, as you are. And treated as you are the only one in the room.
Why is the restaurant called Hunters’ Meadow:
We are Charles & Aylee Hunter — The Hunters. The view of the meadow is spectacular, thus Hunters Meadow!
What is Elevated Comfort Food?
It is the food that makes your belly happy in a refined, exciting way. It’s mom’s cooking with a flare! Try our brown sugar, rosemary roasted chicken with roasted garlic mashed potatoes; our Barolo braised buffalo short ribs, or our Chana Marsala. Try a few small plates for a variety of flavors to make everyone at the table satisfied.
G&S Aviation specializes in Idaho backcountry access and intercity air charter services via a 9 passenger Islander. We also work very closely with my brother’s service, Sawtooth Flying Service, and have 5 and 3 passenger Cessnas available.
A surprisingly different community bank. Member FDIC. Equal Housing Lender. SBA Preferred Lender. Bring your mom. Bring your kids. Bring your dog.
There’s a sign that hangs in every Umpqua Bank that reads “Welcome to the World’s Greatest Bank.” This is not a tagline. It’s a state of mind.
• It’s a promise to do better than anyone expects of us today, then do it even better tomorrow.
• It’s a belief in doing good, not just doing well.
• It’s treating every customer as if you’ve known them your entire life.
• It’s connecting people to their community, connecting neighbors to neighbors, and local, independent businesses to local customers and resources.
• It’s constantly surprising the world with what a bank can be and how a bank can actually be a part of a customer’s life.
• It’s equal parts checking account and knitting club, commercial loan and local music source, IRA and Internet café.
• It’s understanding our customer’s financial needs and at the same time realizing that there’s more to life than money.
