Come relax beneath the shady pines of CHALET Family Campground. Hear Boulder Creek trickling as it meanders past your campsite. Hike, bike, or motor through our majestic mountains. Swim, boat, or fish Lake Cascade. Donnelly is a great place to recreate. Roasting s’mores, counting stars, and reminiscing are the treasures of camping, as you come together with family and friends at the CHALET.
The central Idaho mountains are a splendid recreational area which has long been a popular vacation paradise. Located in the heart of this land of dreams is SISCRA’s Willow Creek Campground.
The park is situated on a 66 acre peninsula on the banks of Lake Cascade. The campground is managed by SISCRA, a non-profit Idaho corporation on land owned by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation.
The campground is open to the public on a seasonal basis. The 2015 season will open on May 20 and will close September 20. Dates are subject to weather and park conditions.
The park features 198 campsites with picnic tables for RVs and tents, most with electric hookups and campfire pits. Campsites are available on a first come-first served basis. We do not take reservations for individual camping sites but usually have ample sites available. Other features include public restrooms with hot showers and a group camping area that may be reserved for family reunions or other events. A kitchen and recreation hall are available to rent. Bring your boat and use our boat launch ramp to enjoy fishing or pleasure boating on Lake Cascade.
